Three years ago, you all helped Santa Barbara Vizsla Lovers Rescue give Tiny Tucker a chance at life.  He came to us an abandoned puppy with a strange disorder connected to sudden awakening and PTSD from abuse he endured due to his problem.  Returned two times, the future looked bleak for Tucker.  You helped us raise funds to have him tested at UC Davis, receive proper medication and be sponsored in a kind sanctuary where he has been safe and well cared for the past 3 years.

Beautiful Tucker is now 4 and in sudden danger again.  His sanctuary is down-sizing and the younger dogs have to go.  His symptoms flared up perhaps because he sensed impending change putting him in danger of being euthanized.  Tucker will always be our baby, and Santa Barbara Vizsla Lovers Rescue has worked very hard with Tucker’s sanctuary to secure a second chance for Tucker to go to an excellent in-home foster who has an Academy of Dog Trainers Behavioralist on staff and a veterinary college nearby with a respected neurological and behavioral departments.  Tucker’s recent behavioral assessment suggests he can be helped to improve; he will now be in a home environment with our goal for deserving Tucker to get his own fur-ever home following his program.

Times are hard for many right now, but can you reach in your heart again to join the Tucker Fan Club and give our charming little Vizsla a chance to stay alive and improve?  Every kind donation will add up to pay for Tucker’s evaluations, tests, medications, behavioralist directed training program and care with his new in-home foster.  Santa Barbara Vizsla Rescue is a 501C3 and all donations are tax deductible.
